AIA Triangle Committee Mission
The Golf Committee is responsible for the planning and organizing of the annual AIA Triangle Golf Tournament. Planning includes securing sponsorships and volunteers for the tournament.
Committee members should expect meetings 3-4 times per year and are expected to help the day of the event.
Goals for AIA Triangle Golf Tournament
The purpose of this tournament is to raise money for the AIA Triangle Scholarship/Fellowship Fund which provides a scholarship to an undergraduate student and a fellowship to a graduate student enrolled in the architecture program at North Carolina State University’s College of Design.
The tournament allows AIAT members, sponsors and guests to enjoy a great afternoon of fellowship and competition on a challenging golf course, while helping support future professionals with their education. AIA Triangle has raised more than $20,000 for scholarships.
