AIA TRIANGLE TOUR OF RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE

The AIA Triangle Tour of Residential Architecture showcases award-winning, architect-designed homes throughout the North Carolina Triangle region. Each residence will receive an AIA Triangle Residential Design Award for design excellence and construction quality.

The 2017 Tour of Residential Architecture

AIA Triangle Tour of Residential Architecture is celebrating its 8th year in 2017! Join us on Saturday, September 23rd as we present some of the areas premier architecture!

The 2017 featured residences were selected by an independent jury and chaired by Katie MacNelly and Danny MacNelly, of ARCHITECTUREFIRM in Richmond, Virginia. Homes were evaluated based on a variety of criteria including: overall design concept, how well clients' needs were met, relationship to site and context, sensitivity to material selections, sustainable design, and special quality.

These amazing homes will be available for a self-guided tour on September 23rd, 2017. For additional information on the tour, featured homes, how to volunteer and to purchase tickets, please visit www.aiatriangletour.com. Featured residences and architects will be recognized at the AIA Triangle Fall Membership Meeting on October 26th.

Why attend the tour?

This is your opportunity to see some of the best residences in the Triangle, get ideas for your own home, and ask questions about architecture, materials, construction, technology. Architects and docents are available to answer your questions all day!
