CANstruction

The goal of CANstruction, in addition to providing thousands of pounds of food to hungry people, is to put a spotlight on the design and construction industry giving back to the communities they help to design and build. Architects, engineers, designers and/or contractors participate either by entering competing teams from their firms or by mentoring teams of students, local businesses, clubs or civic organizations.

Why participate in CANstruction?

In addition to supporting the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, this event raises awareness in the community with a creative and challenging competition. The creativity embodied with this event not only shows the generous spirit of the design profession, it offers a unique way for the public to appreciate good design. These incredible visual icons simultaneously create awareness for art, design and hunger relief — a powerful combination!
