Mission of Young Architects Forum (YAF)
The Young Architects Forum (YAF) is a leadership development program of the AIA College of Fellows. It focuses on professional development, leadership, personal growth, and other important subjects relevant to young professionals and interns early in their career.
The Triangle Young Architect Forum was established in 2000 to provide an opportunity for young professionals and interns to become active participants in the profession. It provides various outlets and activities, both professional and social, where young architects (those licensed less than 10 years) can get together and discuss topics of interest with each other and provides a network within the architectural community to tackle issues that concern them.
Interested in learning more or getting involved?
All activities are open to all Triangle AIA members including Allied members with the hope that all involved will benefit from the interaction between individuals who are just starting out in their careers and people who have dealt with the same issues and can speak with authority, experience and understanding.
Contact task force chair, Chad Volk at firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up for the YAF mailing list or if you are interested in learning more about the task force, upcoming activities, and opportunities to get involved.
